Finding jobs and working in Humanitarian Aid
Here are a few links to websites and blogs on finding work in humanitarian aid.
First and foremost for many of these jobs is experience and training! Our May 21-25 training in Global Development and Humanitarian Aid could be your first step. You'll not only learn about humanitarian aid, legal frameworks for refugees and more, but take part in a 24 hour simulation and learn more about the communication, collaboration and creative problem solving skills it takes to work in the field (and Excel!)

ONE of the biggest humanitarian crises in history - refugees, climate change, political unrest, war --
- the need for humanitarian aid workers three grows daily. One experienced worker, Mirno Pasquali, will be a part of our training in Pittsburgh, May 21 -25. He worked in a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan as one of his first assignments! Now in Bangladesh he will SKYPE in for a talk with our students about his experiences and working in the field.

The map on reliefweb shows the number of disasters around the world right now.....Yes, it's shocking.
Look at the details by clicking on the map at the web site and then check the jobs listing - especially for 0-2 years experience. There's obviously a big need for people to work in this field!
